A useful and concise evaluation – a frank report on the church’s incompetence (at the most generous interpretation), on Synod’s bewilderment and inadequate critical response, and on the hierarchy’s timeserving, and patronizing unwillingness to accept responsibility for failure.
I write as acommitted Anglican layman despairing at archiepiscopal lack of theological awareness!
